I have a 95 Talon TSI AWD and I am swapping my walked 7 bolt with a 6 bolt right now. I run DSMLINK as engine management and I thought that the was a way around using a 1g cam angle sensor? Does anyone know anything about this? I know that there is an "invert CAS" function but I am not sure what it does. Also I need to buy a 1g water pump, thermostat housing, and water pipe???? I read the list on Magnusmotorsports but I thought the 1g's and 2g's were the same?? Thanks, Matt

Magnus doesnt list all the parts you need,, alot of other things need to be replaced ;) I think you need to get on the 1gina2g mailing list. Search Yahoo groups for it.

The BEST way to do a 1gina2g is the Magnus way, which is by wiring the 1g cas. IF there is a way around it dont bother. It takes 15 minutes to wire it in. The "Invert CAS" function in dSMlink is to avoid having to swap the injector wires around at the ECU harness plug.

You can use a 2G pipe if you want to. Same with the thermostat. It's just a matter of how you want to run your water lines. Either will work as long as you have a feed and return for the turbo and oil cooler (assuming you use the stock water-oil cooler).
