ok about 6 months ago i did a 14b swap on my 96 spyder... i do feel a big performance gain over the t25... specialy at 19 pounds of boost.... but just like when i had the t25 on the car at high boost im running really rich... even with the 14b... i see alot of people saying not to go past 18 pounds on a stock fuel system.. but even at 19 pounds its extremley rich.. the main reason i did the swap was to try to lean out the stock system a little bit and of course pick up some speed... but its still the same.. so my Q? is... would backing out the screw in the MAF all the way out lean my condition any? or at least enuff to tell?? and also would this mod be enuff leaning to raise the fuel cut level any? and also.. i have access to a evo316g brand new... but i dont have the funds for injectors right now.. what would be the highest level of boost that i could run with a unported, unclipped evo316g on my stock fuel system... and would it really be worth it to do the swap without upgraded fuel system... my mods are as follows

K&N 5 inch inlet cone filter, MAF K&N adapter plate, greddy Type-S BOV, power1 high flow muffler(i could stick my arm thru this thing),sport comp 2 1/16 boost gauge, sport comp 2 1/16 air/fuel gauge, manual ice maker boost controler, 14b, SS oil line

any input would greatly be apreciated

.95v's??? seems rich to me

let me rephrase... any input that could help and not flame would be apreciated

I don't think the stock o2 sensor has enough resolution to really tell you if you're running too rich or not, simply because common knowledge says 19psi on 14b is too much for a stock fuel system. Your duty cyle is probably above 100%. I think you should invest in at least an upgraded fuel pump before you do anything else - and definitely some injectors before the Evo3.

19 psi on pump gas is cutting is close EVEN with an upgraded fuel system AND tuning. But 18 psi with an upgraded fuel system and proper tuning is going to pull alot harder then your horribly untuned, fuel-starving 19 psi.

I have a 14b, and DSMlink (tuned well) alone shaved just about a whole sec. off my 1/4 ET.

Turn it down to at least 14-15 psi until you get a fuel pump.

I would get rid of the stock exhaust too if you havent already=turbo back
