So coming to work my car is running cherry all the way just about there and I hit the train tracks SLOW! And it kicks this code and my car runs like a total POS I thought something happened to the bottom end it was knocking so bad. Clear the code while driving and it stays off but when I get to work still doing it. Shut it off and let the ECU rest its self and its gone now. Anyone know where to start to find what triggers that one?

Just took it to get some office supplies hit some bumps and its fine wonder what triggered that misfire code the first time?

Not sure if your saying you have a 6bolt swap or not. If you do have a 6bolt swap, then I would say Random Misfire which is common with a 6bolt swap into a 2g. If you don't have the swap then I would suspect loose wire or plug wires going bad, going over bumps jars shit around. FWIW

HAILE 95 GS-T W/6BOLT SWAP: I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM "IF YOU DO HAVE THE 6BOLT SWAP" TRY TO FIND A POTENSIOMETER AND CONNECT IT TO THE BOROMETRIC PRESSURE SWITCH THAT SHOULD CLEAR THE MISSFIRES IF NOT I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT ELSE. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS SINCE. GOOD LUCK!!

Haile you got a link to that pot mod Im thinking its the random misfire after doing some reading.

:dsm: I THINK I REMEMBER THE FIX TO THIS PROBLEM ON THE VFAQ SITE BUT I AM NOT SURE. GO THERE AND RESEARCH IT I WILL KEEP LOOKING AS WELL. :)

I had the same problem in my 6 bolt when it was first swapped. I did the pot mod via $2 at radio shack. It fixes the problem but if you want to get it done right spend the money and get DSMLink V2. I did and I couldnt be happier :thumb:
