Hey everyone. New turbo installed. I have a few Question's

[SUPERMAC]

Ok so after a huge ordeal with the engine spinning about every bearing it has, i went throw and ended up rebuilding the motor and putting in my new t4 turbo kit and supporting mods. now im at:

t4 turbo
38mm wastegate,
FMIC 2.5" pipes
stock fuel pump (cause the walbro i bought ended up not fitting right) think it was for a different car. i dunno.
550cc RC injectors
blitz BOV
SAFC (blue screen)
AVCR (blue screen)
4" intake
3" turbo back exhaust
stage 2 act clutch
and some other little crap.

anyway what its doing is strange. I have went though and fixed any small issued with the car. and then started it up and visually checked everything. It seems to be running ok. but it idles like an old school V8, and for some reason it wont rev for nothing until i hit 4K rpm. then after that the turbo kicks in and makes good boost adn the thing revs really nice. it just has a horrible dead spot from 2-4k rpm.

i have tried to change my SAFC settings a bit, but for some reason it wont help. i know its hooked up ok i have checked it many times.

also i have my AVCR turned off right now. i just want to see what the turbo will put out before i up the boost.

anyway, the main issue is the revving. it is really annoying, and i cant seem to figure out why it wont rev up. the turbo isnt that big, that it would hurt the revs. i thought it might be fuel related but i have checked everything and it all looks fine. i have a pocketlogger on order, so i will be able to see what its doing in more detail, but for now i was just wondeiring if anoyone might have any suggestions.

to recap:

car is having problems revving up, and my a/f/ gauge wont read any changes i do on my SAFC.

If anyone has any info, please feel free to share.

a/f gauge's are junk, and you probly have a vaccum leak or intake leak somewhere.

The t-belt may be off.

I am thinking that you timing is off also. Probably your cam timing. Re-install the timing belt and check all your timing marks first.

hmpf, overlooked you saying you just rebuilt your motor, line up your cam gears and check your timing marks, probly off a tooth.

the timing is good. i turned it over at the crank and made sure it was at zero and the marks both line up.

any other options?

Hey does anyone have a picture or link or something showing how to hoses are supposed to be routed for a AVCR setup on an externally gated turbo? I am pretty sure mine is setup right, but i went off what i thought was right. So i would prefer to have a setup that is already done right to look off of.
