Sup guys......

Im gonna be replacing my piston rings, so i was wondering, should i just take the a/c out of my car while i have the head off??? It doesnt even work, so i figured what the hey.....

anyways, does anyone have a faq on how to do this or how long it would take to do........

Thanks alot guys i appreciate it.

I would leave the ac in just have it checked over in the summer may just need freon.
I would get yourself the factroy service manual for doing the work you are doing. Building an engine takes patience and knowlage to get it right or your just waisting your time and money. Do resurch on it. You will learn more acually doing the work than reading about it bottom line its really all I can tell you. Keep everything clean including your tools.

Take it out. You have the compressor on the back side of the block, the condensor in front of the radiator. that is the two main things. take out all of the lines that connect the two, and run back into the firewall.
