turbo question

Hey guys I recently recieved my pte 50trim turbo but now Im seeing the others they offer, like the scm61. It is the same price but packs a whole lot more power. Would it be a good idea to switch to that turbo instead? I have an safc2 and im going to use pump gas, thought i should add that in case.

It depends on what your goals are for the car. The 50 trim is a great pump gas turbo though.

My goal is 11s or better quarter mile. I plan on running pump gas for a while until I buy the AEM EMS, which might be until January. So the other turbos are preferred with race gas? Thanks for your input, Im still a little confused about what to do. I need to make up my mind quick though because I have a race with a 12.3 CRX on November 12th to prove who is the fastest import in this area.hehe. should be fun.. this guy has been the fastest here for a long time and would be nice to win.

You've got 2 weeks to do a lot of tuning. Better stay with the 50 trim especially since you plan to street the car afterwards. There are dozens of guys with 50 trims
who could help you. Mark

Your also FWD thats going to make it harder to beat that crx. Id suggest getting dragradials.

Hey guys I decided to stay with the 50trim and yes Im going to begin tuning once we get it in. We are having difficulty with clearance. The block off bolt is rubbing on the turbine housing and we also crushed a line. Oh yes and for tires, I have Toyo Proxes.
