Venom 400 Chip

Hey i am kinda new to this site and i have a 94 TSi 5 speed. I was wondering if anyone had any good or bad info on the Venom 400 Chip. Venom claims it will increase base Hp by 25%(with supporting mods). I was wondering is this 25% way off? Does the Venom 400 hurt DSM motors. I read in another thread that it kills our motors. Help anyone. Thanks.

It can since it increases base timing which is bad unless you know how much it is increasing it and can tune for it.

Save your money and get an MBC and exhaust. That'll increase hp by 20% or more.
