1G N/A head same as turbo heads?

Thanx. I couldn't get the search to find anything.

So theoretically I can put an NT head on a 6bolt turbo block, with the appropriate turbo cams of course. What about the valves/springs? Are they the same specs as a turbo head?

*Reason is because I have access to a ton of blown NA motors, and also a 6bolt shortblock* So instead of tracking down a motor for $1k+, I can probably piece one together for less than $500. (hopefully) Hmmm, this might work to my advantage since I've already planned for some aggressive WebCam cams...

Im pretty sure everything in the head is different.. All the internals that is.. Only the casting is the same..

from what i hear everything in the head is the same, and i know the exhaust cam is different, but the intake cam is the same

I've heard from various sources, that the heads are the same, with the exception from one of the cams. RRE says you can use a head from the 1G 4G63(NT) on a turbo block.
