I am getting a sheetmetal intake manifold and obviously a bigger throttle body than my stock 90 turbo one would be helpful

So I hear the 2.0 throttle bodys are bigger than the turbos....would that suffice or I have heard 5.0 throttle bodys can go on but I dont know how hard it is to make on fit and if its worth the hassle

2.0 nt throttle body's are the exact same diameter as a tubo model. if you want to go larger you'll have to turn to the aftermarket.

Most manifolds are setup for mustang throttle body of some size. You can use stock units, or aftermarket brands like acufab. Some are better than others. There is a TON of info already posted here and other forums (talk, nabr, etc).

I used the 1G NT throttle body to make my 3.5" UICP work more cleanly. Pics here:

How much power do you plan to make? A friend made 535whp with an NT TB so if your goal is that or below, I'd stick with the NT. Cheap too.

kevin, lots of props on the setup, that looks awsome man. i hope to see u run someday up at ned. maybe shoot the shit with ya about dsm's. keep up the good work :dsm:

Thanks for the kind words. I'm up at NED all the time, when the car is running ;) Eventually I will go to a real 3" TB, so I can get some performance gains as well as the cleaner install and easier maintentance (UICP comes off with one tbolt clamp).
