Does anybody have any hints for removing the O2 sensor housing. I've got 3 of the 4 bolts off but can't get to the last one. It's the lower one towards the rear of the car. There was a coolant line that ran by it which I removed which helped some. I can't get a box wrench on it. I can get a socket on it but I can't get the wrench in there. I was thinking of getting on of those socket extenders that turns corners, but I never have much luck using those. And yes, I'm using plenty of liquid wrench. HELP!

thanks

Use the above and some testicular fortitude. It will come out, it's just a #@%#@%#@%#@%#@% the first time around.

Thanks guys. I got it off last night. Every combination of extenders and sockets I tried was either half an inch too long or too short. I ended up taking out the oil dipstick. It was just one bolt and it popped right out. It gave me enough room to get in there with the tools I already had.

Plasma tourches work great on them hard to reach bolts <Grin> hehhehehehe

in addition to the above, soak the bolt that you are having trouble with. in PB blaster, or wd40. let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. that should help a ton. i just used wd40, and the bolts came off pretty easy.:thumb:
