Blew the stock turbo about a week ago in my 1995 TSI talon and am in need of a new one. Definetly upgrading and am looking at purchasing an EVO III 16G. Questions are what else will i need to do to get my car running strong off this turbo. looking to run about 15 psi up in colorado, was thinking i am in need of a FMIC, apexi SAFC, fuel pressure regulator and fuel pressure gauge for my Walbro 255 just installed acouple weeks ago (its running way rich) and a full 3 inch turboback system. Other mods so far are greddy s recurc., walbro 255, intake, boost gauge & mount. Just seeing if im missing something or if anyone had any input, it would really help thanks!

Since it's a 16g and you have a 2g you will need a j-pipe and some other bits to install it on a 2g.

I didn't see exhaust... get that asap! To run the turbo you really don't need anyting else besides an install kit as long as you keep the boost low (13psi) until you get the rest of the supporting mods.

The more you open up your exhaust, the more the Evo 16G will want to creep towards 20psi. Unless you have your fuel system built and tuned to support that out of the turbo, you may want to leave your downpipe and cat alone.

you dont have to get a 225 FP UNLESS your trying to go over like 450hp. If you get the 225 you also need a FPR. I just blew my stocker in my TSI . I have a EVO waiting to go in , with 190 FP (rewireed), new 550 injectors, SAFC, joep MBC, 3" exhaust with 02 hosuing dump. i cant wait to try her out when done :thumb:
