Well i had a quick question i bought 2 manifolds online. They tell me they are in good condition and everything no cracks or nothing but when i get one it has 1 or 2 crack that already formed so i am like w/e and i bought the next one i get he he tells me the same thing so now i get it and it has a tiny crack that is forming but not yet cracked so i the question is what will happend wif i put it on will i loose power or exhaust leak or anything??? I would post pics but i dont have a digital camera and its so tiny it will be hard to spot it but yea man help me out........... :thumb:

First of all dude, you may want to edit your post. I had to read it about 3 times before I could understand some of the stuff you were trying to ask.

But as far as your topic is concerned, unless you got those manifolds for cheap prices, I wouldn't bother with them as those cracks will only get worse over time. Not to mention the hassle of installing it, and then having to uninstall it when you find that they might leak. You should check back with that guy and ask him about those so-called uncracked manifolds and see if he has any better ones to send you. Otherwise, you might just have to chalk it up as a loss, and get one from somewhere else.

Idea... Couldn't you just stop drill those cracks so they don't get worse and then just Mig weld or better yet Tig weld the cracks? I just purchased a 2G manifold for cheap that has two cracks and that is exactly what I'm going to do to them. I also Got a Big 16G that was on a LEAN running car that developed one crack which I'm also going to attempt to stop drill and maybe weld up. Might just use JB weld on it and see if it hold. I don't know if welding on the turbin houseing will effect shaft alignment or not. I would try that idea as it's next to nothing to get that done to your already bought manifolds.

yea but the thing on this last manifold i bought its more like stress marks not even cracks yet but the thing that gets me mad is i bought 2 already and both guys said that they had no cracks i will try to post some pics
