I have a 92 talon AWD A/t and for mods I just have a K&N and NGK plugs and 8mm wires, I have an autometer a/f gauge and electronic boost gauge. I just put a cheap manual boost controller on and set it to 13 psi, I figured that should be ok, but if I punch it and it downshifts the boost spike to 18 psi then drops down to around 10-13 psi. Is this really bad for the engine or anything? It feel like fuel cut hits when it spikes. I have a walbero fuel pump just havent put it in yet.
thanks

Dont even know what brand it is, only paid 25 for it on ebay. looks like the joe p and yeah, it has the bleeder hole.

Crosby has a 2g with a T25 and you have a 1g with a 14b. 2 totally different scenarios. The T25 spiking like that is normal and unless it's hitting FC it's not a problem yet it's normal. If it's hitting cut then turn the boost down a bit and I would rewire the pump if I were you ;)

He said in his first post that he has a 1g AWD, just like me. Where did you get 2g from?

18 psi for a second or so shouldn't scare you, it won't hurt anything as long as it doesn't stay there and keep going up ;)
