On my old turbo setup I had made a custom wastegate dump and a 3" dp. The wg dumped was angled to a 34 degree and went straight down and ended about to the dp would. I have people ask me why I did this. I never really heard anything bad about it. So either discuss the Pro's and Cons of it would be great. I will try to find the old picture.

Only thing i can think of is the noise, some people like it some don't. I love the sound of it but wouldn't want it on my car. and depending on where it's dumped you may melt something.

I had it in a good spot. It wasn't near anything that could melt. With the exhaust setup I had then is the same now. Which is LOUD! When the wg opened it was even louder. And it sounded good to my surprise. The wg dumps I have heard sounded like a damm jake brake on a semi.
