I need to take the old pistons off the rods and intall the new ones, my question is> Can I use a hydraulic press to do everything or do I have to take them to a machine shop to do everything?

Also do alot of Mitsu engines have the bearing surface on the pistons for the wristpins and the friction surface on the rods? Just seems different because usually its the other way around.

Actually I have quite a bit of experience with that sort of thing......However I dont have a 4-ton press:(

Dousn't matter now anyways because I already brought them down to the local junkyard "I know the owner" and he let me use his press.
