I spent all day trying to find a sutible valve to use as a MBC. I went to Home Depot, Lowe's, and True Value. No had any idea what I was talking about. What application does the valve have, or what else is it stocked with

Just make your own. A brass T fitting (be sure to drill out a VERY small bleeder), a couple of barbed ends, two ball bearings, a spring, and a drilled/tapped end for the adjustment bolt. See:
