just a quick question, i finally tore down my engine to see what caused all my timing belt problems along with the vibration... well come to find out my bearing came out of place and blew apart, what the hell would cause a bearing to slide out of place and blow apart in that location?? Ive never heard of this one happening b4,,, thx

The "balance" shaft assembly is a counterweight. The shaft & bearing wear down and you get slop... The shaft flops as it spins since it is counterweight and has a heavy weight at just one location. As it flops it just kills the bearing even more.
