I need to know if anyone out there is using a turbo called GODZILLA I have one on my 1997 GST and it's awsome, spools fast and pulls hard I run 19psi and I have been using the stock intercooler and I have out ran people with turbos from 16G,big16G,and 2 people with the new Mutt ETE 32 with twice the wrok that I have if anyone has any info on this turbo it will be great looking for some dyno number's and 1/4th times thanks alot for the help !

:dsm: I just wanted you to know a few things ,
#1. Your turbo comes standard with a REAL Texas monster thrust bearing.
#2. We have made the Godzilla turbo with a TDO6 Turbine wheel .

#3. A larger wastegate flapper & porting is available.

The total Godzilla package of TDO6 turbine wheel, Texas Monster Trust Bearing, Larger 34 mm flapper, and ported turbine housing is available in the Godzilla Senior for $1195.00 complete. And that turbo is what I have on my car that just did a trap speed of 120 mph in the quater (on my g-tech pro) And I'm still deep in the tuning process.
Stay tuned for my 1/4 mile times , I am going to the track Wednesday night. I will post when I get back .

Well I got mine from a friend with the install kit for a 2nd gen Eclipse
GS-T I paid $700.00 for it all Which I am so glad I bought this turbo it has not disapointed me at all not once ! I was so suprised that I out ran my friends with the Mutt ETE32's we where just playing around and we went from 2nd gear and I instantly pulled about 1 car on them thinking that they had missed a gear but we did it several times and the same result's happened again so that made me smile big time but I can't wait to see you times on the 1/4th I would also like to know what you dyno with this turbo to give me some idea's thanks

No problem ! Hopefully it doesn't rain Wed. night like it is supposed to .
Isn't it fun having a turbo that looks like a 14B/16G.
This Version of the Godzilla with the TDO6 TW in it, is basically a Frank
Level 2 in a TDO5H CH & 7CM2 TH. :D
Give me a call up here @ work if you have any questions !

Really !!? Cool I have a bad ass turbo LOL j/k ! Alot of people didn't belive me when I said it was a godzilla turbo they where what is that a big 16G they asked about spec. I was like blah , blah , blah flow's 650cfm's , supports 430 hp now on im just going to say umm...16G LOL I will give you a call some time I do have some question's about it though thanks for all your help WADE

What compressor is used? Typically a Frank 2 is a 46 trim garrett. That seems like a lot of compressor for that housing as far as efficiency is concerned. But I digress. I am just curious.

yeah, the exducer of that wheel just about overlaps into the scroll of the compressor. not much room, seems like a lot of heat would build up in there. any comments on how you got around this?

This issue was adressed through special machining on the compressor housing , compressor housing scroll, bearing housing & 34mmWastegate flapper & porting .;)

GSTeclipse : Thanks for the picture & info ! Car looks great !
Thanks ,

Yeah, I just bought my 1993 GSX and it came with a "Godzilla" turbo. How would I know if it's really a "Godzilla" or if he just gave me a 16g. Right now I have around 18 psi and it flows real smooth, but at around 5500 it sort of stutters and then does an even better kick. It feels really fast all through 7k rpm's, never drops boost. If I do have a "Godzilla" turbo which he claims I do, then I definetely give it a thumbs up.

I have the TDo6 Godzilla turbo installed on my 1g awd. I haven't got to drive the car yet with it installed. But by the looks of the inlet and compressor wheel...it doesn't look like no bullshit. The guy i got it from said it was very laggy .....but he had it installed on a bone stock 1g awd. When, I finally get to drive my car with it....i'll definately be back with a review.
