hmm i have a question:

I am prolly getting a gs-t (wit some mods) from maryland. The tuner shop is going to puit in a 6bolt engine wit a 16g engine and a rebuilt (from shep racing) tranny.

with that said i have a question, there is a 95 gs-t selling near me. The guy sounds like a ricer (from what ive talked to him) he said he has a "new engine" still a 7bolt tho, 14g turbo 2.5" turbo back exhaust 5 speed tranny. He said there is 3k on the "new engine" and 75k on the body. The question i have to ask is he said that he is still using the same block, has new valves, bearings, head, studs but did not mention anythin else. He lives close enuff for a 5 min drive to look at the car, but i dont want to buy it if its really not a new engine (eitehr way i am waiting for my estimate from the tuner shop in maryland)12

Ask him to meet you at Speed Injected in Hallandale. Garry Marsh can look over the engine for you (and the rest of the car, for that matter) and give you the straight scoop. He's a 4G63 guru.

If you really have the choice why not get the one with the 6 bolt in it already. Save you the hassle of swaping it later if the 7 bolt walks. You said it also has a Shep tranny, thats worth its weight in gold. You said it also has a 16g which is better than a 14b, so let me ask you this why would you buy the car from "the ricer"?
