OSAKA Motors

I am just wondering how other people feel about Osaka motors. I went searching around for info on them and found a wide variety from extremely bad to really good, so I am stuck in the middle. I will admit I hvae heard more bad than good, but I have also heard that things have chagned for the better since they have gone under new management. I found most info on Honda-tech.com actually. I put this under the engien performance forum since I will be doing a engien swapo and wanted to know how this company measures up.

I sure wouldn't want that thing to be dropped of at my house. If I ordered a motor and it came looking like that I would think I was on some show on TV like PUNKED or Scare Tactics. There is no way I would except that thing. The person that recieved this motor did get a nother one, but had to pay a restocking feww which wasn't cheap, shipping for the new one, and ended up not getting a tranny that he payed for. This makes me very scared.

I hope you are kidding, there is water in the engine from sitting outside. Also i forgot to mention there was numersous things that were no good on it such as distributor, Cam gears, starter and oh yeah the tranny had big metal chunks in it when he drained the oil. Would you be happy with this motor, even if it had a nicer valve cover and heat shield.

I also forgot to mention that this is what they say about there engines:"All of our engines are hand-picked and imported from Japan for your enjoyment. Once they arrive, they are inspected to insure that quality is not a issue."
