Does anyone know how to remove the internal wastegate....i am running a external on the O2 housing now and need the internal wastegate removed...any one know how to do this??

You could just safety wire it open, that will generally work fine.

Or, just cut the thing and pull it out. Do some porting to the wastegate hole.

Grind the head of the flapper off. This will allow you to separate it from the arm. You can then slide the arm out. You will have to weld the hole left from the swing arm. Or just leave the arm in, grind it flush on both sides and weld it in the hole. Make sure you MEGA-port the wastegate hole.

In all reality, this probably isn't necessary. Now, if it were me I would do it anyway just for the sake of overkill, but I doubt you need to.

The wastegate hole is pretty damned big, first of all.

See what happens if you pull the WGA arm off your wastegate arm, so that the wastegate and swing freely. In most cases, you'll get 2-3 psi of boost at redline, tops. That means the stock hole itself flows pretty well.:D
