How does alcohol help you?

I've just heard about people using alcohol. I read somewhere that it helps for people who want to run high boost on pump gas. I know that it is beneficial but I don't know how it works at all. What are the pros and cons of having such a system?

With alcohol an engine can run a LOT of boost, because alcohol, like race gas, does not detonate easily. In fact, Alcohol car's don't need intercoolers because of the amount of heat required to detonate alcohol.

Lowers inhibitions, gives you bigger muscles, allows you to run faster, jump higher and generally improves coordination. Also gives a buzz, helps picking up chicks...--wait a second, methanol or ethanol?????

it makes girls look better...but there are always some that not even alcohol can help.

In my experience, alcohol does three things:

Allows your intercooler to breathe better (just soak the core for a few)

Lets women seem more attractive to you.

Allows you to talk to women more freely.

Aside from that, I have no information on how alcohol can make your car run better than it does. Just use high octane gas man, that'll make your tires smoke.

I think alcohol should be illegal and the sticky icky should be legalized. About cars i dont know.

Think about it. Alcohol=fights, car wrecks, deaths, break ups, etc. Chronic=laid back, chillin, friendly, etc. Thats my opinion. (maybe cause i dont drink that much) id take a joint over anything

nined2tsi is absoulutly right! i have no problems with alchol, i go to michigan state university so i know it very well.... but all i have to say is i have never seen a fight between two people that are high, its a peaceful drug haha, hence why the indians called it the peace pipe
