over stock tho is the real question? if you just weld them directly together won't you have the same resistance? Wouldnt i have to get the tanks removed and actually weld the cores together more or less?

What are these intercoolers from? Are they 300zx intercoolers your referring too? Anyway if you had them properly welded together and ran it end to end at the front of your car it would definitely be an improvement over stock however would probably fall short of a higher quality bar and plate FMIC. It is, however much cheaper so for $$$'s per HP it's probably not a bad gain.

two intercoolers off an LS1 supercharger. They were used turned sideways with huge scoops in front of the wheels to force air up through them. The company said it did wonders on the LS1 so I guess it's worth checking out. Thanks for the input!

You should give us the brand name of these intercoolers and maybe where to aquire them so fellow dsmers can have the opportunity to aquire them as well, don't be selfish.:talon:

ATI intercoolers, but I'm getting them used. Heck if I could find em new at this price I'd let everyone know but I found someone selling em that was upgrading and happened on a good deal :( You can see em a www.procharger.com I think it was or search yahoo for ATI intercoolers. :thumbdown :thumbdown sorry..
