I will get in the mail i a few days and i was wondering what i can expect from the turbo. I hope to be running low 13's after the turbo. I ran 14.3 @ 95 stock. Oh well, only one way to find out.

haaa-

whats up buddy? I thought that this was you. So what did you need yesterday...the wife said you came over......I am on Days, gotta remember that. You better show up to "The Spot" on Friday. I am supposed to be getting the X back tommorow or the next day.

Ohh on your Question of the 17C......its gonna give you want you want "when" you get the other supporting mods, like the Fuel pump...AFC, UICP, MBC, and a new set of front tires. Just don't boost it over 17 till you at least get the pump and afc.

I can't believe Larryd doesn't know what a 17C is......Extreme Motorsports TDO5 compressor housing, 7cm exhaust flange 17C compressor wheel. Its on their site under Frankenstein Turbo's.

I really would have went with a Big 16G though. But you'll be happy till you need more.

Hey see a Friday 240......

GSXTACY

I have not gotten it. I am disappointed with the postal service  Oh well i expect it by friday. I got EBC pads the other day and put those on. I also got the dual pillar gauge today.

I thought about the the killer 16g. But didnot want to pay that much for it. Then i was going to get a 16g. I thought a 17c woul give me more than a 16g. Kinda inbetween the 16g and 18g

hey gsxtacy you wanna help me rewire my fuel pump. I just printed off the vfaq. Try and do that when i get the turbo put in. I dont know if i will have the exhaust by the races.

Actually, the numerical designations on those turbos is really misleading. Both the 19C and 17C are smaller than a small 16G. At 1bar they are larger by 45cfm but that's where their airflow tapers off. A 16G is rated at 505cfm at 1bar but the flow keeps going up after that. The G-wheels (16G, Big16G, 18G, 20G), they all have the ability to run really well in the 20psi+ range while the 17C and 19C run out of steam around 15psi.

If I were you I would sell the 17C as a new turbo on the trader and buy a Small 16G.

the syty's use the 17c turbo, but its with a Tdo6 and a 8cm turbine housing. thats why the low boost, because of the 2 extra cylinders

I saw a picture of the compressor wheels of the t25 16g 17c big 16g 19c and they went in that order from smaller to bigger.:

16G 505CFM SUPPORTS 340HP
17C 550CFM SUPPORTS 370HP
BIG 16G 550CFM SUPPORTS 380HP
19C 550CFM SUPPORTS 380 HP

Physical size of the wheel isn't everything. Notice that the Big 16G is bigger than the 17C yet they both supposedly flow 550cfm but also suposedly support different horsepower levels.
