I have a Skyline T-28 that I was putting on a CA18DET, Its too big though, So, Has anyone put this on a 2G before, it appears that it will fit though, if so , does it require modification or just Bolt on. Just wanna check this out before I take stuff apart. I don't wanna waste time taking it apart if it won't bolt up. thanks

Wont work the t28's from nissan or even the t25 are true garret turbos as far as i know where as our t25's and 8's have mistu exhuast sides so they mate with the exhaust manifold. Ok enough of that, no it will not fit, dont worry about it and why is it too big for the ca? Does it need to be top mounted or somthing?

Yeah it needs to be top mounted, and we have to construct a custom manifold for it. we have the materials and equipment to complete, but not enough spare time right now to really fabricate it out, So I thought what the Heck, it might fit the 2g. I just Got the 2G 3 days ago, and am starting my first 2g Project. I am going with t3/to4e set-up, But just wanted to have fun with these turbos here before we get the 6 bolt in, oh, the 1G tdo5 will fit won't it? I have an extra of those too and thought I could throw that on there for a lil more power right now. thanks

You might be able to just swap the turbine housing off the t25 onto the t28... Just take them apart and see what you can come up with... I am not sure if they have the same exhuast wheels or not.

Ahh that sucks, that the problem the the sr and the ca any turbo that is a good size usally needs to be top mounted which requires a new exhuast manafold.

The 1g tdo5h or 14b will bolt on but needs new oil feed and return lines and the water lines will have to be bent do fit as well. And a j-pipe will be needed.
