hey guys
i have a 92 eclipse auto 2.0 non turbo. i had the tranny completly rebiult from top to bottom and every sensor and solinoid is brand new also. i had a shift kit installed while the tranny was getting redone too. when i got the tranny back it shifted great nice smooth but solid shifts. until a week later i get off the highway and go to take off and it wont go into any gears besides reverse. so i tow it back to the shop who rebiult it and they had to tear it down again. they ended up finding a seal blow out for first gear. i get it back and now my 1st to 2nd gear shift slams like crazy to the point that i can chirp tires in a completly stock non turbo. its very annoying for a car thats my dd. well to make it short he said my line pressure is to high and is blaming it on a electrical issue. ik theres ways to raise line pressure but what trick can i do to lower it? please help ive dumped way to much money into this tranny for it still not to work right!

You could ask the shop which pressure spring they put in...I have the RED in mine.I've been told the black makes it shift harder..Maybe a spring switch is all you need.. Shift Kit Page 2
Have your tranny guy call John at IPT....It sounds like its valvebody related, which suggest that the tranny won't have to be removed to fix it..973-406-7000
