Does anyone know where to buy a cheap torque converter?

I'm getting a freshly rebuilt auto transmission for $400 but doesn't come with a torque converter and my previous one has scuff marks on it left by loose TC bolts. Is it ok to use the old one since its kinda working ok for now ... My transmission is just leaking (3 quarts a day) because of a bad pump bushing. I've already spent $900 replacing the seal and a few other things so I'm really in a crunch. Thanks.

Get a good converter now while the trans is apart. Contact IPT immediately for a restalled stock unit. Money well spent if you are doing any performance modifications to the car. Even if you can't afford a restalled unit, IPT can probably get you a deal on a stock refurb unit.
