2G Need some help flex plate offset

ok can anyone tell me the offset of a 7 bolt 2g flex plate from the engine bolck to the torque convertor bolt pads. or I will even take the distance from the ring gear on the TC to the end of the bell housing. I need one of these two measurements before I can get my car rolling I just had the trans rebuilt and dont want to have to dish out that kind of cash agian. the second measurment would be easier to get I would imagine all the has to be done is remove that metal gaurd on the bottom next to the oil pan.

The manual calls for approx. .642 inches. for the distance from the ring gear on the TC to the end of the bell housing.
