1G How to use a pocketlogger

Once you get to the pocketlogger startup menu, you have three choices; Datalog, View and Diagnostic.

Datalog is the most important one for tuning. The three main things you want to datalog are RPMs, Timing and O2 Sensor 1.

Go ahead and log a run.

Once you do that, you want to view your log.

When looking at the log, you want to look for a couple things. One, follow the RPMs on the logger to see where your O2s are. .92v is what you want to tune for. Higher then that is rich and lower then that is lean when at WOT. Also check out the timing curve. If your timing curve has dips in it at WOT when going through the RPMS, most likely that is knock.

The view option just lets you monitor things like air temp, O2's, throttle position, and more. Just a nice feature they added in if you arent logging a run.

The diagnostic option lets you clear any CELs that may come up. If you are running a test pipe. This lets you clear those CELs that may pop up because of not having a cat.

I would like to also add that when looking at your timing curve, you want to see around 9 degrees of timing at full boost and at the end of the powerband see about 18-19 degrees. During the power band, it should be a smooth line like I send before with no dips.
