Topline's not so great warranty

So i got my engine rebuilt by a reputable machine shop in town, after i got everything back together everything seemed fine.
10 months and 8,000KM later the timing jumps and I'm stuck with a broken car.
When the engine gets torn down we find that the autotensioner was faulty and all the oil leaked out of it.
So i call topline and all the guy could say was that they will only replace the part.
Now why would i want to put another autotensioner from top line on after this incident. Never making another purchase from them again!

Thats typical of most warranty's, most places will not cover other damage caused by their part.

For a critical part, like the tensioner, stick to OEM.
