Spark Plug Wire Dividers

So how do you keep your spark plug wires separated after upgrading
to larger than stock spark plug wires that don't fit into the stock black plastic divider?

Well, I have a cheap solution for you.

Here are a couple of pics that are worth maybe $1 – $2 in zip ties.

This part only pertains to Tuners that have DSMLink installed.
I just finished installing DSMLink, and since I have a 97’-99’ Eclipse GSX,
it is required to switch the spark plug wires around at the coil.
After I switched the spark plug wires around, I was anxious to get her fired up,
so I kinda hurried when doing this simple little mod.
Remember, cars with stock spark plug wire routing are gonna look a little different,
but you can still use this mod to keep your spark plug wires in check.

Alright, on to the steps:

First, arrange the spark plug wires the way you want them to lay.
Start with the spark plug wires at cylinders 3 & 4 and work your way back toward the coil.
Get a zip tie (color of choice), and wrap it around both spark plug wires loosely.
Now use a zip tie between the spark plug wires and capture the loose zip tie.
Slowly tighten the zip tie that is between the spark plug wires.
You don’t want to do this too tight just yet.
Allow a little slack so you can arrange the ends of the zip ties prior to clipping them.
Next tighten the zip tie that holds both spark plug wires together.
Tighten them til they look something like my set-up between cylinders 3 & 4.
Clip the ends and you’re done with cylinders 3 & 4.
Then move on down to cylinders 2 & 3 and capture the wires for cylinders 2, 3 & 4 loosely with a zip tie.
Then use a zip tie between each of the spark plug wires and capture the loose zip tie.
Then move on down to where you’re dealing with all 4 spark plug wires.
Use a zip tie around all 4 spark plug wires leaving it loose so you can put a zip tie
between each spark plug wire and tighten it around the first loose zip tie of that set of wires.
That's it, no more messy wires, and you now have a clean spark plug wire set-up like mine.

Yeah, my motor was idling while I snapped these pics...

Very nice. Or, the redneck hotrod shops have larger-diameter wire looms.:thumb:
