Hey Guys,

ITs a bad pic but i wanted to show what i was working on, i have it mounted in plexi that i plan on buffing to an opaque view and putting leds behind it to light blue, but i had to drill a little bit of a circle on the left side to accomedate the mute button,

Let me know your thoughts,

Rick

GREAT idea, never thought about that. A little bit clearer picture so I can see the plexi you're talking about would help in seeing what you're talking about. Better yet, Just a little bit of fiberglass and you could make it look molded in........ The only problem is it kinda defeats the "concealed" part of the name. But it does look unique. I wonder if it would be any easier to glance there or at the actual unit. By the way, how do you like the V1? I want one bad! I dug out my old BCT-10 scanner and have to fix the power plug, but it will be sitting right beside the V1 when I get it. The only problem I have now is finding a vehicle that actually is accomadating to drive long distances at speed. My Cobra is just too much for long commutes now with 4.10 gears and long-tube headers with full exhaust. The GST needs valve-stem seals. I'm faced with the problem everyone on here is faced with, too many car parts and not enough money!

hi me, nice to meet me.

:) anyways, yea bro, mee too, the prob with having the V1 in the dash, (noticeable by police, and others) is that when your doing excessively high speeds, (cough) you dont want to really take your eyes off the road, so i placed my V1 high up below the tint on the front window, above the rear view mirror, so its hidden from all, but can look and see foward and rearward. and the concealed display is then in your eyelevel so you can see it peripherealy and just by shifting your sight just a little.

imagine its installed, now shift eyes left during your normal view to the center pod, rather than where the V1 is located

instead of being concealed is just a relocated display.
i thought about glassin, but when you see the completed itll look gooood, cause im going to make the plexi look nontransparent, like a milky white, and then put the LED behind it to 'glow' a little, im not positive, i need to see how it looks,

Top pod is gonna be boost, bottom oil pressure.

http://www.sounddomain.com/id/firebretha3 , check out where i placed the v1. it was my well worth christmas gift, last night i nearly got tagged doing a buck thirty by laser, i passed a dark center median and it started buzzin like nuts, and then i had time to pull the ebrake (avoid taillights) and signal, change lanes into center, didnt pull me over. theres too many stories in the month that ive had it. pm me for ebay hints on picking one up.

Thanks!!

not bad looking, where can i get my hands on a V1?.. i hear they are pretty sweet radar detecters.. pricey too?
