Tweak the Pop Ups?

I've done a load of searches but I can't seem to find anything on the subject.

First of all, I LOVE my pop up head lights. But I don't like how high they actually come up. I was wondering if their are any modifications you can do, or if their are any aftermarket kits/motors/ect I can buy that'll let me tweak my lights so that when they come up, they only come up a little. And if so, would my stock lights be bright enough (presumably half would be shielded by the lower in-place lights), or would I have to find much more narrow lights?

Just a mod I've been curious about for a while, and I apologize if this has been covered already.

do a search, i htink someone may have eevn written up a tech article

look at ARCTICTSI (sp?) his car has em halway up in the "sleeper" look, and some don't bring them up at all and jsut turn on there highbeams
