My car didn't come with stock foglights, but i bought some used stock fogs. I wired them up and they worked fine, then one of the bulbs burned out. I bought another pair of bulbs and replaced them, then another bulb burned out shortly after. I don't wanna keep buying bulbs, so is there any reason why this could be happening? Did i possibly use a too large of a gauge of wire? Thanks for any help.

You probably installed the wires wrong, OR some wires can be touching that you dont see..

It happend to me once. I would install a new bulb and it will short out a couple days later.

Found out, there was two wires loose, so whenever I drive and hit a small bump, the two wires would touch, and will short out the bulb.

Just double check everything.

alright, thanks. i'll double check.

But, is it possible that the wire is too fat of a gauge? I don't know much about electronics, but trying to learn;)

Too big of wire wont matter. If the wire is too small it wont carry enough current for it. I would check the grounds. If its not getting a good ground it would shorten bulb length. Also it may have been a bad bulb. take the one good one you took out earlier and put it in.
