I want this valve cover

Does anyone know where I can get this valve cover, I think someone over on 2gnt has it, but the pic was sent to me by a friend, and I fell in love with it, the color would match my car very well.

yeah duplicolor makes that color anodized blue, you just put silver under it and do lots of layers.......viola!

It looks almost like a kandy. I think it would look better with a large flake silver metalic base coat though.

What are these "anodized spray paints"? I have never heard of them, where can I get them and approx how much are they? Would I just do a silver or chrome layer on the whole thing, or a few, then tape the letters and layer blue over it? Might be a commen sence question, but I dont know.. Thanks alot guys.

i did mine with the duplicolor stuff. not quite that good looking, but a definite improvement worth the time and $8 or so i put into it.

clean degeease, simple green etc.
dry
Paint,
clear coat? hitemp engine clear coat?
dry
valve cver gasket.
install

-Clean using a degreaser and scrub well.
-Wash again with dish washing soap to get oils off
-Wipe with prep-all
-apply self etching primer
-apply base
-apply translucent paint
-apply clear
-valve cover gasket
-install
-done.

I got a Pic of my freshly redone one in my gallery.

Remove, Clean, Strip Old Paint (Paint Stipper) heavily clean, then paint

For a polished letter look I break out my die grinder with a 3" wire wheel and go at it

I used automotive high temp Paint
