anyone use 194 led wedge bulb in an autometer gauge?

I was just wondering if anyone has used those led 194 wedge bulbs in an autometer gauge. I was jus thinking of putting a normal hyper white bulb in the gauges but i would like to reduce heat by using an led. Also i don't wanna do that led mod to the gauges where i have to buy little leds and wire them to the gauge.

Should work fine. However, the 194 is such low-wattage that there isn't all that much heat issue.
