I think I'm going to vomit. Why would you spend 400 bucks on some tail lights when you could easily spend that on more go-fast parts? Then your car would be less #@%#@%#@% and faster all in one fail swoop.

my assumption is that kid ecstasy likes to tun on his hazards then dance around behind his shiny red and chrome taillights, while listening to some unintelliglble music he's trying to pass off as techno.

I really didnt like it im just posting it coz other ppl wanted to get some euro tails.:D oh yeah i luv techno :D

i preferable am waiting for taboo speed shop to finish up their skyline taillights for the 1g. those i think would look pretty classy IMO.

thanx matt at least i got somebody backing me up and im gonna say this again i didnt like the taillights i was just posting it coz ive seen post of ppl looking for euro tails for 1g :D

So..since I got a lot of ppl mailing me with questions on amber tails for the 2G Eclipse I found ou¨t the price and thought I'd post it here instead.

A set of amber tails new from dealer is 450$ over here+shipping(50$).Used ones are impossible to find since only 98Eclipses (2g) were sold here and none is at the junkyard yet:-(

Amber front turnsignals and amber rear tails for the 1G are more common and can be found used if anyone is interested.

I get alot of q:s about this so I posted this here..Hope no one gets mad at me.Thanx for the space./Roger
EDIT: After I posted this I got a PM from a moderator who asked me to post pics of the different styles so here you go,til I find better pics of them this will do:)

They are BEAUTIFUL!!! How can you not like it. To me, it's orange, not amber, there is a difference. I love orange. My turn signals and side markers are orange and I'm trying to make them even brighter orange. If only orange headlights was legal, I would get Gold beam HIDs for it. Why? Orange freaking pierce through fog! They look hella tight too. I had a del sol and put orange bulbs in the auxillary lights the first day i got it. Drove around, and next thing you know, people start doing the same thing...werid how trends catch on. It helped so much during foggy days. Honestly, altezza tails only looks good on an altezza. Sorry, conversions aren't that great. The only conversions I think are good are sileighty conversions and strawberry conversion. Other than that...I think people should have saved up the money from the conversion to buy the car that came with the headlights or tails....but that's JUST MY OPINION.

Definitely those are some sweet lights!

Pretty pricey, but I think if you really wanna stand out...those are the way to go.

I think they'll look good if you paint the center light and leave the european taillights on the side.

I picked up a set the hard way. Some of my DSM friends in Germany found the part numbers that Mitsubishi sells them under in Germany. I also had a friend that was traveling over in Germany about the same time. He picked up the lights from a Mitsubishi dealership over there and brought them back. It was about $400.

The interesting part is that they are manufactured in the U.S. Too bad we can't get the Mitsu part number over here.

Then we had to rewire the circuitry so that they would flash correctly. The red tails flash the turns using the inner bulbs that also serve as stop lights. The amber arrow heads have to be wired up and resistance has to be added. The signal to the stop circuit also has to be modified.

The steps are outlined on the www.carolinadsm.com web site. If you want to see how they look on a red 2G GSX check out my car in the phot gallery.:dsm:

I half thought about putting Euro tails on my 1G, not for rice, just to make it unique among the 1gs in my area. I'm getting my car painted black and I think they will look.... well i'm not sure how they will look. Any one have any pics or can anyone photoshop a pic of a black 1g with the euro to give me an idea? I know I'm asking for trouble bringing this up, but I'm just curious. Thanks guys

their more expensive because they are rare.
