hello, when i hit the lock button on the key fob, i want it to make a little beepin noise or a honkin noise or something...i would prefer a sound like the lexus' but anything will do....how would i do it??

Thanks:dsm:

Get a manual with the wiring harness, and tie a relay off the one that blinks the interior lights. Run that to the parking lights. It'll be a nuisance to do, but it won't be impossible.

How does that have anything to do with making a beep noise????????

also, i wanna know how to get my horn to honk AND my parking lights to flash
When you lock the factory keyless with the remote, it flashes the dome light twice. Find the relay that does that, and use that feed to run a second relay to whatever else you want the car to do when it arms. You could even get a Needham cannon and make the thing flip onto its roof.

ok, yall are gonna have to bear with me here....the only wiring i have done is run a relay so that my fogs will come on with my parking lights, i am pretty sure that i know what to do, i basically just have to run a relay to connect it to another relay so that way it would make them both activate...correct?? now my only problem is, how do i figure out which relay does that?? Defiant mentioned something about a manual, is it like a bentley manual or something????

Thanks:dsm:

Sadly, nothing outside England ever got so thorough a book as the Robert Bentley manuals, and I recall my heartbreak in learning this when migrating from my Spogeyed Fright to the Datsun 2000. Then again, the Datsun didn't NEED a book-fix every other week.

Check eBay for the Engine and Electrical manuals from the factory. Don't be concerned if you get the Chrysler books or the Mitsubishi, they're close enough to identical that it doesn't matter. Also, don't panic about the year, 1G books are just about universal, and 2Gs are even more so.
The Chilton's book is also pretty good, except for that awful mixing of models and years in the middle of the text to the point it's a nuisance. The Haynes 2G is quite a step down from the usual Haynes quality.
