I was looking at the back of my car and I was thinking about how ugly the middle part of the tail light is. Does anyone agree with me? I was thinking about a filler plate possibly. Just make it flush with a place for your plates and painted to match the car. Do you guys think this has been done? I would be really interested in doing this if anyone hasnt. Let me know and maybe lets get someone to photshop this. Just get a big picture of the talon back bumper striaght on and fill it. I would like to hear your guys opinions on this.

I like the Talon tail more than the Eclipse. I'd like the center ring to light up, though. Or at least be reflectorized.

i agree with defiant...if you do fill in your lights its just gonna be to much light imo. where are you going to put your license plate?

You mean like, molded to the rear bumper and painnted to match? This can be done, we have a local guy here who did that.

*Note, this was on an Eclipse and it looks great... I'd get pics up but my scanner wont work

This isn't the local car (its silver) but same thing was done. I know this is an Eclipse but worth postinng so you know what I was trying to say

it would be if you did it right.. that pic was just photo chopped

Im not talking about a molded in plate. Here is what I am thinking. I fiberglass mold of the center piece but smoothed out so it doesnt say talon and it would still have the place for the plate. That center piece comes off right? Isnt it just some bolts holding it on?

y dont u just take the stock center piece out and sand the letters down and paint it the color of ur car.

That might work.....

talon7684 can you post a better picture? Like a direct shot of the back, thanks.

I'd like everyone to know that I'm a talon. Here are more pictures of mine

thank you so much, looks good. Hey I used to live in peoria.

Thanks. Peoria huh, just down the road (well I-74). I've been there many times. I'm thinking about painting the lights all red... not sure though. If i dont like it, I have my original pieces, so they can always go back in.

So here is what Im thinking when spring comes. Im getting the roof painted to match the rest of the car and getting the center piece painted. I will also be adding a cf hood and painting my stock lights black. I think that will look really good.

As far as the center section goes would I just sand it down then a primer coat or two then paint? I dont want the talon letters to show at all, just nice and smooth.

Something else I was thinking, does anyone have an idea on how to fill the writing on the sideskirts?
