Vis Extreme GT CF hood owners

I got my Vis Extreme GT Carbon Fiber hood installed and with hood pins as well. And of course it is friggin awesome. However, it does not latch all the way down. The hood pins hold it down just fine, but has anyone encountered this? How can I get it to latch?

did you remove the little rubber bumper things ? I had to remove mine so the hood is a little lower. They are round and twist off and on the radiator support.
