anyone know how to rewire the fog lights to come on w/ my corner lights or parking lights.... my switch on my dash dosent work anyways... and im to lazy to put my new one in i bought (exact replacment i luckily found on ebay). if anyone has any diagrams or knows the exact directions... like which wires where or whatever, LOL... plz help cuz i dont wanna #### it up.

all to easy. get a fuse holder and connect it in your fuse box to the tail lights and the fogs. test and see if it works. if not USE THE SEARCH

If you use a jumper wire like in one of the fixes in the vfaq electrical section, it is going to allow the fog lights to be on as long as the ignition is in the on position. if you switch to your high beams then they will turn off.

Aeh, dammit, I wish they'd tell us when they give up on a DSM page. Everybody's got space sitting around on a server to host crap.

Anyway, what you need to do is jump the power to the _supply_ side of the foglight relay from the supply side of the parking light relay. So that instead of being supplied by the headlights, they'll come on with the parking lights.

If you don't have a shop manual yet, this is a good excuse.

what gauge is a jumper wire? like how big? i have some 12 gauge power wire sitting here if that will work.

do i need to still use my switch w/ that setup?(my switch is broken in the off position and i can hit the switch and the fogs will come on but it wont hold.) if so ill have to tear my damn dash apart and put the new switch in which would defeat the whole purpose of me wanting to do this. as posted
