Ok, guys, i have a 95 Talon, and i really like some of the black projector headlights that i see on Ebay, but they only have them listed for the 97-99 Eclipse, and i was wondering if they would require alot of extra work to get onto my talon. I know someone out there knows which headlights are bolt-on changes for each year, and i was wondering if they could tell me if those will fit for me?

I have a 95 eclipse and purchased the 97-99 projectors. The bolt pattern is the exact same, and there is no work to do besides "bolting them on" literally direct fit as far as getting them into place. However as far as appearence, the only thing you need to worry about is the gap that will result on the inner corners of the lights by the top center of the bumper. The 95-96 lights extend about 1 to 2 inches longer than the 97-99 projectors do. If you just swap the projectors you will have the gap. You can buy an OEM 97-99 bumper to solve this problem, this is also easily done (no modification needed, bumper will fit perfectly) Or you could buy an aftermarket 97-99 bumper to accomodate the gap.

I say go for it, I love the look of the projectors!:thumb:

And I'm still trying to find out if early lenses will fit onto later backs. With that "flap" on the inboard side, it sure _looks_ like it'll fit right up. But I'm having a helluva time getting anyone to cough up an old (preferably broken or scratched badly) late-version headlight.

This is the gap:

oh, i see. I'm not going to worry about that gap, i'm sure someday i'll work up the ambition to get a later model bumper, but it won't bother me until then. Thanks alot for the info.
