medicine hat,
my car seams to have lost the shine it used to have. I waxed it once when i bought it and it stayed shiney for like 6 months. Now i can wax it and it last a few days, also the rag seams to turn red when i wax my body and black when i wax my roof, almost like its removing my paint????OMG is there anything i can do to get my shine back without spending alot of cash????

Dude that's not normal.

If your clear coat was coming of you would have white peel edges where ever it's lifting off. It probably means someone has repainted your car before and used a cheap single stage paint. This means there is clear in the base color and not a protective coating of just clear on the out side.
If it is single stage paint you need to have someone detail your car with a buffer. And not just a Wal-Mart buffer. You'll need a high speed buffer used at body shops.
To see if a buff job will help, just go to a auto parts store and buy a bottle of rubbing compound. Put it on a rag and rub it in circles on your car really good. It should brighten up.
