Gauging interest for 2gb AND 1gb lip spoilers

Myself and a friend have made some lip spoilers for 97-99 Eclipses. They are made of very durable ABS plastic and do not significantly reduce ground clearance like the lip spoilers that step down do. We have also made a prototype based on a 1gb Talon bumper. Im not sure if they will fit on a 1gb Eclipse bumper too, if anybody knows for sure please let me know. Here are some pics:

Install pics of the 1gb lip are coming soon. I dont know if discussing price is allowed, so I wont. Lets just say it will be a good bit cheaper that what currently available lips cost. Before we look into producing a number of them, I just wanted to see what people think. Any questions and comments are welcome.

Is that just a flat piece of abs? How does it contour the bumper? I know the bumpers are not perfectly flat. Any info would be helpful.

I had a lip like that on my GTI VR6 with little stabalizer bars from the bumper down to the lip. Looked really sick guys alwasy asked me about it and where I got it etc.. Really unique super touring look which looked really nice on my GTI..

We are still going to be making the lips. Finding a reliable CNC place is proving more difficult than we expected. When everything is good to go and we can start taking orders, I will let everyone know.

the same design should fit 1ga and 1gb. I like the looks on the 2g. I'm in for a 1g if they look similar.

Show a pic of the lip on a 1Gb. If it looks 1/2 as good as on the 2gb, I'm sold.

The 1gb lip does not fit on a 1ga. We already tried that

We are still trying to hook up a local 1gb to model the lip. Stay tuned.

I think it looks pretty good. But it would be cooler with the little metal holders like ive seen on racecars. You know they kinda look like hood pins but they connect from the diffuser to the bumper. I have no idea what they are actually called. So what exactly is the purpose behind this? Does it just look cool?

I know what you mean about those things that hold it up. Im not sure if they are functional on the lips for other cars, but they wouldnt be functional on the one we are making. The lip is more than supported without any posts or whatever they are. If you really liked those things Im sure you could fab some up.

There is no real function for the lip, its basically a cosmetic thing. So yes, it just looks cool

This is the only picture I could find real quick with those metal support holders, I kind of like them 2 , but it also depends where there placed on it.... keep us posted when you find somebody to make them

Hottalon92, the lip isnt going to look like that Mazda lip on your car, its going to look like the lip on the two Eclipses in the link I posted originally.
