Clarion CD changer mated to stock cassette player???

Hey guys,
I have the stock 96 tape deck and was looking to just install the cd changer through that. i have the fm modulator etc. i checked w/ www.installdr.com and checked the wiring, it said nothing about changers, just aftermarket decks. i can get the controller to turn on, but once it does it's intro (hello) it starts to flash and reads error 4...whatever the hell that means...??? for some reason, it powers my controller, but NOT the changer. (while the controller was on, i tried ejecting the cartridge....nad...nothing?
any ideas? maybe i wired something wrong, but i think not.

Mits swapped a wire, for one thing. I don't know if you'll ever have any luck getting that going, you might try Clarion, or maybe Crutchfield.

I've never found a wiring diagram for the remote CD, nor for the DIN cables used in the Infinity DSM system.

in the manual that came with your changer it should have a list of the errors and what they mean. i'm thinking you got the accessory and 12+ wire's crossed, but without knowing what that error is it's hard to say. might check the ground connection as well

yeah, i had my wires crossed...i'm getting a weak signal for my fm modulator though..seems whoever had the car before me broke the damn antenna piece of in there....no biggie, as i'll be swapping that out momentarily w/an aftermarket HU.
