HVAC question

i came up with an idea for mounting a tv where the stock radio is, the only problem... where to mount the aftermarket head unit....answer..possibly where the heating controls are now and relocating them elsewhere. My question is, are the controls going to be hard to move.. are they electrical? if they are electrical all i would have to do is lengthen the wires, but i have a feeling its going to be harder than that... so i am thinking about mounting the cd player in the glovebox., and having the ps2 in the hatch area or maybee try and cram both into the glove box. ANY IDEA OR PICTURES OR COMMENTS?
