System in a Spyder

anybody got any ideas on what to put in a spyder for a system

anybody have subs in there spyders?

Here's what I got:

Pioneer deh-6300
Crystal Mobilesound 6" component system
Audiobahn aw1500x (15" sub)
JBL 600.1 (amp for sub)
JBL 80.2 (amp for components)
2.5 cubic foot ported, custom enclosure and amp rack

There's not a whole lot of options you have with a Spyder being the trunk is so awkward....I believe I have the biggest box you could possibly fit in one without resorting to fiberglass molding. Also, I've built setups where the sub fires up (at the trunk lid) and now to the rear (towards the taillights) and I'm much happier with it facing the rear because it rattles less (but you can't see my sub now. The ports in the box are firing towards the cabin of the car (opposite side of sub). Basically my entire trunk space is gone now, the entire area is sealed off...but I guess that's the price you have to pay for having a system in a Spyder.

Don't skimp on a cheap sub, or small amp...you're going to need decent stuff to get anykind of bass in a convertable being their is no cabin pressure. One recommendation would be a single 12" Kicker L5, in a 2-2.5 cubic foot sealed box, and a decent amp that puts out anywhere from 500-1000w RMS.

1x 5,25 in the rear.

I built mine in th eerar seast in ceits so small that no one can sit htere anyway** Thats the best way to get the sound in the car too...
