How much would the labor be on this?

Hey guys....was just wondering what you think the labor would be to get this door conversion kit put on our cars? Any ideas? Thanks!

Andys Auto Sport

my friend paid almost a $1000, $2500 total for the kit and to have it put on his integra, its not that putting them on is hard its getting them to work right, and not hit your car and shut correctly

Thanx for the info guys!! 1800 for the kit is not bad in my opinion so most likely I will end up buying it.

does the andy's auto sport one come with a remote control door opening for the lambo kit? i didnt notice it on their site but i know autoloc has a kit thats a couple hundred dollars more that comes with remote opening:dsm:

If you decide to go through with this mod, definately get the remote opening. My Friend did this to her integra but didnt buy the auto-opening parts, and its weak. The doors are pretty heavy and its a pain in the ass to lift them up all the time. Also, the doors dont just go straight up like it seems in the picture. The doors open to a 45, then go up. After seeing the finished product on her car, I wasn't impressed at all.

Thanx...I found it on yahoo after I posted that .....Sorry! Looks like I will go with the Autoloc system. I have a good friend to the family that will install it. He said about 6 hours of work at the most to make sure the doors get lined up right.

We recently installed VDC hinges on a 99GS. FYI we sell the kit for $1600, and charged $500-$800 labor, can't remember the exact rate. That may sound high, but of course that covers our arse's if the door is damaged during installation. With the Doors flipped, the car get's quite a bit of attention sitting in front of the shop during the day.
