I just finished a conversion from 95 talon 10 99gsx and i put the RSMDSM front chin spoiler on and im scraping the damn thing everywhere! I only lowered the car 1.75 inches on eibach springs and KYB GR2 struts. Its made out of ABS plastic which is pretty tough and as long as it rubs from the bottom its fine, has anyone else had problems with it on their cars??

just becareful over railroad tracks, speed bumps, and dips in the road. i am currently repairing mine as we speak. i'm adding metal support on the back side for added strength so once i'm done with that and have it fiberglassed on and sanded and repainted (black again) i'll post up some pics.

on the bottom, no. all that would do is make it lower and scrape more. i'd be a sparkler if i did that!!! but i'm going to run thin metal on teh back side and where the lip connects to teh bumper on the underside of that also. i'm going to fiberglass the metal to each other and to the chin spoiler. or to connect the metal together, i'll get some "L" shape metal that's thin and use that to connect the metal reinforcement. like i said, i'll take some pics when i get it done. i'm going to try and start it tomorrow and have it done with in a couple of days. sanding and smoothing the fiberglass will be the hardest part really. all the other stuff is just trimming and all. so we'll see.

i have gr2's with my H&r sport springs and they are pretty bouncy at times. I would imagine that they would be even more bouncy with eibach springs. That would cause the car to travl more and scrap. You can get stiffer shocks but nothing is going to stop scraping on hills and bumps.

I've had mine for 7 months. Gab supersports on 4 with Eibach prokits. 1.3 inch drop. I don't scrap mine that often. Just don't go too low. AWD an 1" drop is good enough. Be careful over everything and go extremely sideways and very slowly. Good luck. :thumb:

drift front is 19 1/4 inches high from top to bottom measuring right down the middle. the stock front 18 inches and the lip is another 2. so stock front with lip is around 20-21 inches.

I am on my third lip, but this one has lasted the longest. It definitely takes a LOT of getting used to and a LOT of careful driving. You cant beat the look tho.

Just be careful and you will enjoy all the looks the car gets going down the road.
