Ok i bought it on ebay. he never gave me a theft code, and i didn't know it had one. i gave it to a friend and he hooked it up, it works but you can't listen to the radio or anything like that untill you put in the theft code. Is there anyway around this or did i get screwed over??

get the serial number and the dealer should give it to you for free. otherwise they will try to charge you for taking out the radio to look at the serial number

just to clarify. if they try to charge you, call another dealer. someone will do it for free.

took it to the delaer, they gave me the code and told me how to reset, we went to reset it (he said to leave it on for an hour) and it blew a fuse. changed the fuse, and it did the same thing. Thats when he said screw it and decided to try it another day.
